Performance Marketing Brands (a.k.a. Ebates) Buys Grocery Shopping App Pushpins

pushpinsPerformance Marketing Brands, the operator of online shopping and rewards programs, has acquired Pushpins, the mobile app for saving on groceries. We're hearing that the acquisition price was likely in the range of $10 to $15 million. Pushpins gives users digital coupons and rewards when they scan UPC barcodes at the grocery store. The company's app also allows you to access digital shopping lists, coupons, nutritional information and access to your shopping history.
