Girls Basketball
No. 5 Bloom 53, Shepard 32: Katherine Strong (9 rebounds, 7 assists) and Bria Gaines (14 rebounds) had 21 points apiece for host Bloom (2-0). Amanda Weiss finished with 11 points to lead Shepard (0-2).
Rich South 58, Lincoln-Way West 34: Tierney Lockett scored 18 points to guide host Rich South (2-0). Dasia Evans (13 points, 11 rebounds, 7 blocked shots) and Tierra Webb (11 points, 10 rebounds) aided the cause for the Stars. Amanda Hozzian led Lincoln-Way West (0-1) with 19 points.
Crete-Monee 63, Thornridge 22: Marsha Howard and Ashley Henry scored 17 and 13 points, respectively, for host Crete-Monee (1-0).
Mount Assisi 66, Josephinum 16: Terri Dearth tossed in 14 points and Lizzie Vernon added 10 for visiting Mount Assisi (1-0).
Andrew Tournament
Andrew 46, No. 10 Oak Lawn 42: Molly Franson scored a game-high 25 points to lift Andrew (1-0). Jannah Mahmoud had 14 points for Oak Lawn (1-1).
Joliet West 49, Rich Central 33: Cassandra Burres contributed nine points for Rich Central (1-1).
Argo Tournament
Riverside-Brookfield 43, Evergreen Park 28: Nicole Larkin and Megan Beckow each scored five points for Evergreen Park (2-2) in the third-round game.
Guerin 37, Argo 31: Amy Kinney (8 points) and Nariman Jaber (11 rebounds) were the standouts for Argo (0-3).
Hinsdale South Tournament
Stagg 48, No. 9 Sandburg 47 (OT): Revi McMahon split a pair of free throws with four seconds left to win it for Stagg (1-0). Her sister, Casey, paced the Chargers with 14 points. Ashley Youngwirth?s 15 points were the most for Sandburg.
Richards Tournament
No. 7 Lincoln-Way East 71, Reavis 24: Kara Krolicki netted 14 points for Lincoln-Way East (1-1) in the opening round. Sisters Meaghan and Claire McMahon added 10 points apiece for the Griffins.
Curie 60, T.F. South 53: Kaitlin Togtman scored 17 points for T.F. South (0-1).

Reavis 1,875, Lemont 1,596: Matt Sammon had a 252 game and 418 series over two games for Reavis at El-Mar Bowl. Kyle Anderson tacked on a 267 game for the Rams in the South Suburban crossover. Michael Martinez posted a 203 game and 375 series for Lemont.
Joliet West 1,877, Lincoln-Way West 1,770: Lincoln-Way West?s Josh Glover (258 game) led all bowlers with a 494 series in the SouthWest Suburban crossover at Laraway Lanes.
Tinley Park 2,159, Hillcreset 1,834: Nick Shupryt?s 504 series propelled Tinley Park in the South Suburban Blue dual at Centennial Lanes. Henry Bell led Hillcrest with a 458 series.
Shepard 1,968, Richards 1,956: Andrew Byland, of Richards, had the top game (290) and series (467) in the South Suburban Red meet. Mike Albrecht led Shepard with a 428 series at Arena Bowl.
Oak Lawn 1,986, Argo 1,961: Oak Lawn?s Ryan Kirby posted a 235 game and 445 series in the South Suburban Red dual at AMF Forest Lanes in Lyons.
Brother Rice 2,350, St. Rita 2,031: Jim Scheffler?s 202 game and 399 series powered Brother Rice in the Catholic League South meet at Lawn Lanes.
Bremen 1,754, T.F. North 1,750: Kevin Lorz (235 game) notched a 417 series to pace Bremen in the South Suburban Blue meet at Oak Forest Bowl. Javon Brown?s 386 series was tops for T.F. North.
T.F. South 3,007, Eisenhower 2,704: Taveon Roberson recorded a 247 game and 679 series over three games to spark T.F. South in the South Suburban crossover at Lynwood Bowl.
